Lind: 4th Generation Warfare Comes to America

Go to Mike's place and read this article from Robb's Global Guerrillas.

That's one of the OpFors.

Multiple threats from multiples axes of attack, ruthless, and filled with the foolhardy courage of youth and testosterone.

Can your tribe defeat their attack?

Tempus fugit.

I most highly recommend websurfing over to Global Guerillas after reading Lind's article and download the article "Don't Fork the Insurgency". Follow that to the 6 strategic rules and the add on links. Very good reading.

Commenting on street gangsters-they are of a common mindset but they too have been squeezed by the same people that have squeezed us. They've been squeezed harder in the ghettos-areas where the worst tendencies of man are encouraged. Many of them are mostly desperate at heart although there are plenty of psychopaths that get attracted by the gang life.

When things collapse they can be enemies, or potential ad hoc allies against a bigger foe... IF you could possibly get them to understand that. I've tried now and then and a few so far do. They know whose fucked them. I'm certain finding a less risky way to survive in a full blown economic collapse/martial law/civil war scenario will be attractive to the pragmatists among their ranks.

I'd rather just kill 'em.

GunRights4us I understand the sentiment but you only have x amount of bullets, we ALL have a common foe that would love to have us expend that x amount on each other. We don't have the means to manufacture cartridges from scratch... hopefully that's being WORKED ON....

Don't fork the insurgency-go to Global Guerillas read the 6 strategic rules of insurgency. People who wouldn't otherwise talk as spit at each other become really reasonable when they face a common foe greater than them.
