Go and read.

Trudge through the contracting information near the end for even more night vision background information.

OK, so Gen 1 seems like junk.

Gen III is pretty damned expensive, even if available.

So does anyone know a good source for Gen II devices at a reasonable cost?

keep in mind that all the high-tech gadgetry that the leviathan uses can become useless if you take out the optics or the computer.

A good read is:
NIGHT MOVEMENTS
translated from Japanese
by C. Burnett
available from Loompanics of
Port Townsend, WA.

All the reason to make the $3500+ investment in a Gen 3+ PVS-14 with the ITT tubes. One of my best prep investment to date.

Don't fear the night - own the night and let them fear he who hunts at night...
